Choat Cemetery

Choat Cemetery - Russell County, KY

Located off Water Works Rd. (West off of Ky. 92) in Jamestown, KY. I transcribed these in May 1998, just after memorial day. I have listed them in the order they exist in the cemetery as best I could. I have checked them in some cases against the Death Indexes that are online at the University of Kentucky at http://ukcc.uky.edu/%7Evitalrec where I had questions sometimes it helped. I have attempted to be as accurate in my transcription as possible, but mistakes may have occurred. I apologize for any such. I live 170 miles from Jamestown, so I wasn't able to go back and double check some questions I had. In cases where I felt that an individual was possibly still alive, I have left their names and dates off for privacy reasons.
