Will of Mason Flanagan, Russell County, KY, March 31, 1900
I transcribed this from the photocopy I have. I have attempted to keep
spelling, capitalization, etc. as in the original. There were a few spots
where I wasn't sure of the word, indicated by question marks.

Wesley, Ky. March 31st 1900
I Mason Flanagan being of sound mind & knowing that life was short and death
sure do hereby make my last will. 1st I will that after my Natural Death
that any just debts and funeral expenses be paid and whatever is left my
will is that my wife Martha J. Flanagan have a certain tract or parcel of
land including the home described below during her natural life and at her
death my will is that portion of my land go to my daughters Rosaline
Flanagan & Salomea(?) Wade. The land above mentioned is lying in Russell
Co., Ky. On the waters of the roaring lily bounded as follows. Viz:
Beginning in the public road near the old shop & where the road leading to
my house leaves the public road, Thence down the public road to a stone
corner of the George place, Thence a straight line to my old houses where
Denny Wilson now lives, Thence to my old still house, Thence down the still
house branch to my outside line, Thence with my outside line around to D.E.
Flanagan's line, Thence with my outside line to the beginning, but this is
not to include any of a little tract of about 24 acres that lies down on the
lily. This the day and year above mentioned.

I Elmer Wheat, Clerk of the Russell County Court, certify that the foregoing
instrument was at the April term 1907 of the Russell County Court produced
in court and offered for probate and record as the last will and testament
of Mason Flanagan deceased and upon proof heard the same was adjudged to be
the true last will and testament of said Flanagan and ordered to be recorded
as such. Whereupon the same with certificate has been duly recorded in my
office. Witness my hand this April 8th 1907.
